Toni Gonzaga gets confined in the hospital after falling ill

<img src='' alt='080712-toni_main.jpg' align='left' border='0' height='290' width='305'>Toni Gonzaga revealed in an interview August 5, Sunday, that she forced herself to go to work that day to fulfill her commitments even if she was still recovering from an illness. “Dapat nga tuloy-tuloy na ‘yung pagpapa-confine, kaya lang launching kasi ng Belo (in ASAP and Toni is an endorser). Naka-fix na lahat so nakakahiya talaga mag-back out,” she shared. After ASAP, Toni decided to come to The Buzz where she is one of the hosts. “Sabi ko kung kaya ko pang tiisin… natiis ko naman. Nag-medication kami and then sa The Buzz marami kaming balita. Sabi ko kung present ako sa ASAP diretso ko na hanggang The Buzz, and then after (The Buzz) diretso uli ako sa ospital, magpapa-dextrose na ako.” The actress-host shared that according to her doctor, she is suffering from a gastro-intestinal problem which might be triggered by stress. She related that while she was shooting her movie with Vice Ganda last Tuesday (July 31), she felt ill. “Nagsimula sa empatso hanggang sa 'di natunawan, hanggang nagtu-throw up na, hindi na napu-poo-poo. ' Though ill, Toni still managed to joke during the interview. “May malfunction na nangyari, di na nagpa-function nang tama (ang tiyan ko) kahit uminom ako ng pampa-poo-poo. Five days na, naalarma na ako, tapos ang bigat na ng pakiramdam ko, so pina x-ray kahapon. And it’s positive, it’s a baby poop, it’s a big baby poop. Nakakaloka, andami.” Toni also said her doctor advised her to go easy on the food she eats and when she takes her meals. “Siguro sa trabaho daw o kinakain. Normal lang daw na may ganon, kaya lang nagkakataon. Kaya hinay-hinay daw sa pagkain, kasi ako pag di kumain, di kakain, pero pag kumain, lamon. Nagbayad na ako ngayon.” When further asked what procedure the doctor performed on her, Toni quipped, “I-abort. Kailangang i-abort ‘yung poo-poo.” She then explained that they performed enema. “Sosyal version ng labatiba… nilinis. Sabi ko baka pag nalinis okay na, pero 'di pa rin. Matigas pa rin this morning (ang tiyan) para pa ring masusuka.” Right after The Buzz, Toni stated that she would return to the hospital right away to be confined until she fully recovers. Toni is hoping she will be well enough by August 7 to continue shooting for her movie.

The actress shares she is suffering from a gastro-intestinal problem triggered by her stressful schedule at work.
