JC Buendia’s fabulous finale

Known as 'The Presidential Designer', JC Buendia has always been the choice couturier of the distinguished. He has said that when a celebrity or personality wears him, they win acting awards and elections. He is worn to weddings, inaugurations and state visits.

But this time around, JC just wants to be known as a designer, period. He wants to be known for who he is - a writer, listener and a painfully shy artist, which carefully and gorgeously translates into his creations.

JC celebrates his 25th anniversary with his love for the movies. This is where, he explains, he has his fashion awakening. Inspired by the movies of Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn and Julie Andrews, he has whipped up 50 very quiet pieces that evoke a certain kind of feeling, the kind you get when you watch movies.
