Jessy Mendiola says she cares for JM De Guzman

<div><img src='' alt='081812-jessy-main.jpg' width='305' height='290' align='left' border='0'>As part of her preparation for her upcoming teleserye<i> Isla</i>, Jessy Mendiola revealed what she is currently busy with, “<i>Pagpapa</i>-sexy. <i>Nagdyi-</i>gym <i>ako</i>,” she said smiling. </div><div><br/></div><div>In the project, Jessy’s leading man is Matteo Guidicelli and the show will also star Matt Evans and Jewel Mische. The said project will be her first team-up with Matteo and Jessy explained that she and her leading man try to get to know each other better for more onscreen chemistry. “<i>Kasi pag may</i> love scenes <i>kayo</i> (at) <i>di naman kayo</i> close, awkward (‘yun) <i>kaya</i> okay <i>naman kami ni </i>Matteo.” </div><div><br/></div><div>On a personal note, Jessy already explained before that she is not yet ready to be in a commitment, altough JM de Guzman had publicly declared his love for her, which took Jessy by surprise because she didn’t expect JM’s admission on national TV a few weeks ago. “Okay <i>lang na nagsalita siya, bilib ako sa kanya. Pinanindigan niya. </i> He’s not like that, <i>hindi siya nagsasalita.</i> In short he’s very quiet <i>pagdating sa</i> interviews. And for him to do that, I think that’s very sweet.<i> Lalo na ang mga lalaki ngayon, ma</i>-pride,” said Jessy. </div><div><br/></div><div>Initially, Jessy was vocal in saying that JM’s admission took her by surprise and would have preferred that the actor had given her a head’s up before his confession. But she said that they already talked about this and have sorted out their misunderstanding. “<i>Bakit ako magagalit?</i> Hats off <i>ako sa kanya. </i>Knowing him he’s not like that,” she clarified. Jessy also assured that she will not avoid JM because of what he did. “<i>Hindi naman ako ang gano’ng klaseng tao na</i> because of what happened,<i> biglang mawawala. Ako naman</i> I’ve been always been there to care for him.”  </div><div><br/></div><div>Jessy also clarified the issue that she has been seen a number of times going to JM’s condo unit. “<i>Baliktad. Siya ‘yung pumupunta sa</i> condo<i> ko</i> with my mom. <i>Umaakyat siya ng ligaw sa</i> mom <i>ko. Siya ‘yung pumupunta sa amin, nagdadala ng </i>chocolate, flowers. <i>Pupunta siya ng </i>condo<i> tapos tinutugtugan niya ang nanay ko kasi ‘yung</i> mommy <i>ko mahilig sa </i>music. ‘<i>Yung</i> guitar <i>ng</i> mom<i> ko andun kinakalikot niya</i>.”</div>

The actress may not yet agree to be in a relationship with JM de Guzman but she said that she will not cease to care for him.
