Ella Cruz says that Anne Curtis is her top inspiration in showbiz

The 14-year-old actress said she also hopes to be able to showcase her other talents aside from acting in the near future. “Marunong din ako akong mag-dance. Maruno akong mag-rampa rampa, modeling. Favorite singer ko si Anne Curtis (laughs). Actually naging inspiration ko si Anne Curtis. Idol ko siya kasi pag kumakanta ako, Anne Curtis yung dating (laughs). Yun ang sabi ni mama ko. Nung time na sumikat si Anne Curtis kasi, pangarap ko din magkaroon ng album, magkaroon ng concert. So kung si Anne Curtis nagka-album, balang araw ako din magkakaroon (laughs). And at the same time sobrang galing din niya umarte, dun sa No Other Woman ang galing niya talaga. Napanuod ko kasi yun,” she told <a href='Push.com.ph'>Push.com.ph</a>. Ella said that she appreciates the chance to sing in front of the audience whenever she guests on ASAP. She said she hopes to improve on her voice so that her dreams of making her own album someday might come true. “Actually gusto ko rin ma-try mag-sing pero natutuwa naman ako kasi pag-nag-ge-guest ako sa ASAP never pa ako nagsayaw. Lagi akong kumakanta. Sabi ko, ‘Ay baka may chance! (laughs)’ Basta I like yung mga songs na tipong mala-Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, and Selena Gomez, mga ganun,” she said. And even as early as now, Ella said one of her dream roles has to be a very complicated character. “Gusto ko mga challenging role, yung tipong bulag ka, baliw ka or action star ka, parang ganun,” she said. The Aryana star also admitted that her friendship with co-star Michelle Vito (who plays mean girl Megan in the series) has also gotten closer after working closely with her these past few months. “Simula dati pa lang magkasama na talaga kami kaya minsan kapag mag-te-take kami, si Michelle kasi sweet siya. Super sweet siya kaya pag mapapanuod niyo siya sa Aryana sobrang ang layo ng character ni Megan sa kanya. Pero natutuwa ako kasi hindi mo makikita si Michelle sa kanya as Megan. Sobrang taray ni Megan! (laughs)” she explained. Ella said that because they are such good friends off-cam, sometimes it’s hard for them to do fight scenes. “Nahihirapan nga kami lalo na pag sabunutan. Kapag sinasaktan niya ako. Sinasabi niya, ‘Ate Ella sorry ha sasaktan kita,’ ganun so sinasabi ko sa kanya, ‘Okay lang yun. Mas gusto ko yung sinasaktan mo ako para mas nararamdaman din ng audience.’ Sobrang natutuwa ako sa kanya kasi nag-i-improve yung acting niya, mas maraming maiinis sa kanya. kahit ako minsan naiinis na ako sa kanya as Aryana. (laughs) Sobrang saya ko kasi nag-i-improve na acting niya at saka minsan tinuturuan ko rin siya para lalo pang mag-improve,” she said. The petite actress said she will be the first one to defend Michelle in case someone picks a fight with her. “In real life, pag nag-cut na, pagtatawanan na namin yung nangyari.
