Although she claims that they’re very much in love with each other, she still refused to put a label on their growing romance until now. “First time niya ako twineet February 10, tapos nagkita kami February 13. Ayaw naming tawaging anniversary yun. Wala pa kaming plano. Siyempre hindi naman kami officially together, pero sana magkasama kami. On Valentine's Day, magkasama kami ni John Lloyd (Cruz), kasama ko kayo, kayo ang aming ka-Valentine sa premiere night ng Unofficially Yours,” said the beautiful actress in an interview with the local press last February 1. Looking back on what they’ve gone through together, Angel told <a href=''>Push.com.ph</a> that she’s happy to have found someone who made her fall in love again. “We’re happy. Masaya ako na nakakita ako ng tao na magaalaga sa ’yo, nirerespeto ka, masayang kasama, na-inspire ka at nagbalik ng confidence sa sarili mo ‘di ba? Pero para sa akin malayo pa, hindi pa dito nagatatapos. Marami pang happiness, marami pang mas magandang bagay ang dadating sa amin, mas excited ako sa susunod. Tine-treasure ko kung anong memories namin before, pero ako naniniwala ako na may mas maganda pang mangyayari.” In the same way that Angel has been very supportive of Phil’s football games, the actress revealed that he’s also excited about her upcoming movie with John Lloyd. “I don’t think nakita na niya na yung love scenes, although nakita na niya yung trailer. Sabi naman niya, mukha daw maganda yung pelikula. Kilala naman niya kasi si Lloydy, napakilala ko na sa kanya and nakasama na niya. He’s excited. Actually, yung kotse niya nilagyan niya ng poster. Pati sa BBM niya yun din ang profile pic niya. The fact na sinusuportahan ka ng tao sa bagay na minamahal mo, kahit hindi niya naiintindihan [dahil hindi naman siya showbiz], malaking bagay yun sa akin.” Angel admitted, however, that she would rather not let him watch Unofficially Yours because of her liberated character in the story. “Actually, ayokong panoorin niya. Siyempre iba yung pagkakakilala niya sa akin. Kahit yung In The Name of Love, pinanood niya, pero sinabi ko sa kanya ‘wag na niyang panoorin. If ever, ayokong magkasama kami. Ewan ko, hindi ko pa alam eh.” But she was quick to say that it’s not because he would be bothered by her intimate scenes with John Lloyd. “No, no, no. I don’t think he's like that. And kapag secure naman kasi yung tao, walang issue.”
