Enrique Gil said that his role as BJ in the teleserye Budoy is his most challenging one so far but also is the most fulfilling.
Enrique took pride in saying that he was able to establish his character so well that he receives compliments from viewers for his performance.
Enrique shared that in the beginning, he was worried about his character because he might be typecast in kontrabida roles. However, he went for it and is now glad that he took the risk because it has made him a better actor.
Apart from the teleserye, Enrique has two more projects underway. One is another teleserye with upcoming young star Kathryn Bernardo and a movie with Xian Lim, Enchong Dee, and Kean Cipriano. After getting one project after the other, Enrique was asked if he is ready for the intrigues that might come his way, such as being a favorite of the Kapamilya network.
He explained that the opportunities that he is getting this time has something to do with proper timing.
Aside from timing, the actor also said that having good projects means that he is doing something right. They will get you for the next project. Siguro my hard work, ‘yung paghihintay ko it’s slowly paying off, sana dire-diretso.”
