More than anything else, he's excited to improve his versatility as an actor knowing that he'll learn from one of the best comediennes in local cinema. "First time ko mag-comedy.
In the meantime, he will still be busy taping Kahit Puso'y Masugatan which is scheduled to air until March 2013. May mga offers ng bagong teleserye pero siguro I'll just decide on it next year.
Looking back on how he did both Kahit Puso'y Masugatan and Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo, Jake admitted that it really messed up his peace of mind. He realized it's probably one of the reasons why he was very emotional for the past few months. "I guess it's doing two soaps at the same time. I'm kind of having this some sort of identity crisis. To tell you the truth, everyone thinks na nagawa ko effortlessly yung dalawang teleserye pero it's hard, seryoso. But I am happy once in my life I did two soaps at the same time. Kaya ko ipagmalaki yun. Pero to tell you the truth, paguwi mo ng bahay hindi mo na kilala sarili mo e. Sobrang magkaiba yung role."
Nevertheless, he's thankful that ABS-CBN entrusts him with projects that bring out the best in him. "Super amazing ang 2012 para sa akin. Sobrang nagpapasalamat ako sa ABS-CBN for giving me two teleseryes and for Star Cinema for giving me a movie. I am very blessed."
