Kim Chiu on rekindling past romance with Gerald Anderson: 'Matagal na yun'

At that moment, Kathryn was trying to describe Daniel Padilla’s courtship style in between laughs when Gerald suddenly commented, “<i>Parang si </i>Kim [<i>si</i> Kathryn Bernardo] five years ago!”</div><div><br/></div><div>Coupled with the fans’ excitement about the comeback of the Kimerald team-up in this movie, the local press couldn’t help but wonder if there’s a chance that the two could get back together in the future. To which Gerald replied that his heart is open to all possibilities. <i>“Lagi naman naka-</i>open<i> ang puso ko</i>.” He’s also glad that he got the chance to talk to Kim again. “<i>Masaya ako na nakasama ko ulit si </i>Kim<i> sa</i> movie<i> na ito</i> after two years [<i>kaming hindi nagkatrabaho</i>]. <i>Ang dami kong nalaman sa kanya, nakapag-</i>catch up <i>kami. Masaya ako.</i>”</div><div><br/></div><div>Kim, on the other hand, was more direct to the point when asked if she has closed her heart for Gerald. She obviously felt awkward to be put on the spot, but she maintained that it’s good to be on such good terms with him. “<i>Ano, siyempre… matagal na yun. Siyempre nagpapasalamat ako na magkaibigan kami ni </i>Gerald <i>at hindi kami magkaaway. Lagi kaming… ngayong sa</i> shooting <i>namin nagkaka</i>-catch up <i>kami sa mga nangyayari sa isa’t isa. Kasi </i>two years <i>hindi kami masyadong nag-uusap, hindi kami nagkikita.
