John Prats speaks up about Bianca Manalo's reported new relationship

<div><img src='' alt='110212-john_main.jpg' width='305' height='290' align='left' border='0'>During <i>Banana Split</i>’s fourth anniversary press conference, John Prats was asked for his reaction regarding ex-girlfriend Bianca Manalo’s reported new relationship with a model. Although unaware of Bianca’s new beau, he actor/dancer said he has nothing but well wishes for his former flame. “<i>Hindi ko alam</i> sorry ha (laughs). <i>Ayun matangkad, bagay sila ‘di ba? </i>(laughs) <i>Sa akin naman, sa umpisa pa lang sinabi ko naman nung dati pa na sana mahanap namin yung</i> happiness <i>namin</i> and now <i>na nalaman ko diumano na</i> happy <i>siya ngayon eh di yun lang naman ang wini</i>-wish <i>ko na maging masaya ang lahat,</i>” he shared after the event at Napa restaurant in Quezon City last October 30. </div><div><br/></div><div>After their separation earlier this year, the 28-year old said that he would not blame Bianca if she chose to get into a relationship right away. “<i>Sa panahon naman ngayon, hindi ba parang kung meron namang nandiyan para magpasaya sa iyo, huwag na nating pakawalan. Masaya ako sa sarili ko pero hindi ko naman siya hinahanap sa ngayon pero para maiba naman e-enjoyin ko muna ang sarili ko ng mag-isa </i>and surrounded by so many friends <i>at</i> makipag-meet. I’m openly<i> parang </i>entertaining <i>pero hindi naman ako yung parang kailangan magka</i>-girlfriend <i>kaagad, hindi naman ganun,</i>” he said.</div><div><br/></div><div>Now that his <i>Banana Split</i> co-star Angelica Panganiban has openly admitted to dating John Lloyd Cruz, John said they were able to avoid any awkwardness that could have happened. This is because Lloydy is the ex-boyfriend of Shaina Magdayao whom John also dated previously. “Well in fairness to Angelica, <i>nung sa mga </i>moments<i> na lumalabas sila</i>, she talked to me about it and <i>yun nga yung sinasabi ko na yung</i> friendship <i>namin ni </i>Angelica is really unconditional <i>na parang siyempre iisipin ko na bakit naman ako magagalit sa isang tao nagpapasaya sa isang taong mahal ko din di ba</i>?” he explained.</div><div><br/></div><div>John said his close friendship with Angelica has helped him accept them as a couple more easily. “<i>Siyempre tao lang din ako na nung una parang </i>awkward. After that awkwardness <i>parang na</i>-realize <i>ko na nung nag-usap kami ni Lloydy, sabi ko sa kanya na huwag lang niyang sasaktan yung </i>best friend <i>ko, nung</i> Star Magic Ball<i> pa yun. Yun lang naman sinabi ko sa kanya</i>, very brief but after that <i>parang</i> okay <i>na</i>, very casual <i>na kami. Mabuting tao naman si Lloydy eh, alam ko naman na kaya naman dalhin ni Angelica yung sarili niya at kung ano man yung meron sila, sa kanila naman yun at buhay naman nila yun.
