Aiza Seguerra admits she will always choose singing over acting

<div><img src='' alt='100612-aiza_main.jpg' width='305' height='290' align='left' border='0'>After the success of her 25th anniversary concert held last September 28 at the Araneta Coliseum, Aiza Seguerra admitted she is feeling happy to be able to showcase her talent in both singing and acting. She is currently seen weekdays in <i>Be Careful With My Heart</i> which made it to the top of the ratings charts in daytime programming.</div><div><br/></div><div>“We’re happy <i>na ganun</i> but we don’t want to put pressure on ourselves <i>kasi kumbaga </i>blessing <i>ito eh</i>, because we believe that <i>ginagawa namin yung </i>the best <i>na kayang gawin</i> so <i>parang walang</i> pressure on our part <i>kasi alam namin na </i>we’re on the right track. <i>Kasi</i> if you overcompensate <i>masisira yung </i>formula and the formula of this show is very natural, that’s why people like it. <i>Kasi parang nangyayari lang sa buhay eh.</i> So we don’t want to overcompensate sa acting, we don’t want to think about that,” she shared.</div><div><br/></div><div>Aiza said she believes in the positive message that the show sends out to its audience. “<i>Masayang masaya ako sa nangyayari, hindi lang dahil masaya ako sa mga kasama ko pero</i> I think<i> yun naman yung maging </i>goal <i>ng</i> TV shows <i>di ba</i>? To give positive vibes <i>sa mga tao</i> and <i>sa totoo lang, kapag nakakanuod ako ng mga</i> typical soap <i>parang ang ingay. Kasi kami sanay kami na masaya lang. Masaya na puwede naman pala mag-work na hindi lahat ng problema iniiyakan or lahat ng problema sinisigawan. Puwede pala mag-work na magsama kayo ng hindi ganun sa mga ganung bagay. Dito sa Be Careful With My Heart, pinapakita sa mga Filipino na kaya niyo basta magkakasama kayo.</i> You don’t need to fight or kung anu-ano pa so it’s a good thing,” she explained.</div><div><br/></div><div>The multi-talented performer said she is not a big fan of melodrama. “<i>Ito na yung totoong buhay eh, kasi hindi naman buong buhay may kapitbahay ka na kaaway na nagsisigawan kayo. Hindi naman porket nalaman mong buntis yung anak mo eh… Ang totoong buhay naman simple lang eh, pag nabuntis yung anak mo</i> it’s either you accept it or not, you don’t have to shout all the time or cry all the time. If you have problems, do you cry all the time? You face it,” she added.</div><div><br/></div><div>The <i>Be Careful With My Heart</i> actress also admitted she is amused about her love team with former <i>Pinoy Big Brother </i>housemate Tom Rodriguez. “Actually <i>nakakatuwa kasi</i> okay <i>rin pala na magkaroon ka ng ka</i>-love team s<i>a mga panahon na alam mo na ang totoong sitwasyon. Kasi nung time namin ni </i>Spencer (Reyes)<i> medyo ano pa ako eh, so ngayon parang </i>bromance <i>na talaga ito</i> (laughs). And at home <i>din naman kasi maayos din kasama si Tom, makulit. Halos pareho kami ng trip sa buhay so nag-ja-jive naman,</i>” she admitted.</div><div><br/></div><div>Even though she always does her best with whatever role is given to her, Aiza admitted that singing will always be her first love. “<i>Para sa akin, nami-miss ko na kumanta. Nami-miss ko na yung nag-gi-gig halos</i> everyday so <i>siguro okay na rin yung paminsan-minsan lang umarte kasi para hindi rin magsawa sa akin yung mga tao. Okay na ako sa pa-isa isa kada taon or every two years.
