“Kasi ang taping nila John Lloyd for A Beautiful Affair ay T-TH. Of course, it is their film, the priority is their schedule. Ako naman po ay nakasali dun. I would think na lang na siguro this is not meant to be my comeback film for Star Cinema. Maybe it’s something else,” said Iza who previously starred in the Star Cinema movie, Milan.
Iza further stated that she was excited about getting reacquainted with director Cathy Garcia-Molina and the rest of the team behind the third installment of A Very Special Love. Nevertheless, she remains optimistic that there will be other opportunities in the future. “Siyempre nanghihinayang naman ako. Ang pangit naman sabihin na walang panghihinayang. Siyempre I was looking forward to working with John Lloyd, Sarah, and everybody else on the set and Direk Cathy. And sometimes it’s really for the best.”
In the meantime, she’s grateful for all the viewers who continue to support her teleserye Kahit Puso’y Masugatan. “Apparently, it’s doing great ratings-wise. But I’m more concerned with the storyline.
As far as she knows, it has been extended until January next year. But we’re really until November, yun po ang pinirmahan naming kontrata,” she added.
