Luis Manzano talks about his bed scene with Vice Ganda in 'This Guy's In Love With You, Mare'

The 32-year-old actor-host said he could relate to his character Mike. “<i>Siguro yung pagkaka-relate ko sa</i> character <i>ko, ako kasi </i>personally <i>ang dami ko ring pagkakamali bilang lalake. So ganun din</i> role <i>ko, may mga </i>trust <i>siyang nasira na kahit paano nakaka-relate ako,</i>” he admitted.</div><div><br/></div><div>Luis, who has always been open-minded about showing skin in his past movies, said one of his most unforgettable moments while doing the movie was shooting his bed scene with Vice Ganda. “<i>Kumbaga, kung i-e-establish natin yung </i>career path k<i>o sa paghuhubad, ay yun na nga, inabot na ng </i>bed scene s<i>a amin ni Vice. Sabihin na natin na sa konting tinagal ko sa industriya, nung pauwi na ako, umiyak ako dun sa nangyari</i> (laughs),” he joked.</div><div><br/></div><div>Luis said he enjoyed working with close friends Toni and Vice, as well <i>This Guy’s In Love With You, Mare</i> director Wenn Deramas. “S<i>i Toni kasi nakasama ko na rin sa dalawang serye, Crazy for You at sa Your Song. Pero ngayon pa lang kami nagkasama sa </i>movie. <i>Si Direk Wenn, siya ang unang unang nagpa-arte sa akin kung saan akala ko mag-ho-host lang ako buong buhay ko tapos si direk ang nag-convince sa akin. Sa Kampanerang Kuba pa yun. Pero ang naging </i>ultimate love team n<i>g buhay ko na tinalo pa si Anne</i> (Curtis) <i>ay si Vice. Sabi nga namin ni Vice, pang-limang pelikula na namin ito na magkasama. So siguro inisip ko makaka-sampu pa kami. John Lloyd-Bea</i> level (laughs). We’re halfway there. <i>Siguro ang sa aming tatlo din na nagugustuhan ni direk Wenn</i> is <i>kahit ano</i> willing<i> kami gawin basta mapasaya ang</i> audience. So <i>yun ang </i>common denominator<i> namin kaya siguro</i> we all get along,” he explained.</div><div><br/></div><div>The talented host-actor said that he and the rest of the cast really hoped the movie would be received well at the box-office. “<i>Pareho kami ni Vice, pag ako may oras, nag</i>-a-adoration chapel ako. <i>Kung mas malaking oras, nag-ma-</i>Manaoag<i> din ako</i>,” he revealed.</div><div><br/></div><div>Luis said that he takes each role he is given very seriously and his role of Mike was no different. “<i>Minsan sa</i> standby area <i>pa lang may luha na ako, seryoso! Nangyari na sa akin yun. Siguro</i> never <i>ako nagka-problema talaga sa iyak </i>or <i>sa </i>role,<i> yung atake talaga ganun</i>,” he recalled.</div><div> </div><div>When it comes to his personal life, Luis said his relationship with girlfriend Jennylyn Mercado is as steady as ever. The actor denied rumors that they broke up recently. “For once and for all, <i>hindi po. Hindi ko alam saan nanggaling yung</i> issue <i>na yun. Walang labuan</i> factor. <i>Nung lumabas yung alam na nating </i>issue, never<i> kaming nagkalabuan.</i> Not even for a single day.
