2011 has just started but Maja Salvador is already busy working on her new projects, including a movie with boyfriend Matteo Guidicelli, entitled My Cactus Heart and an upcoming afternoon soap opera, Lumayo Ka Man Sa Akin.
The last teleserye Maja did was the hit primetime show, Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin, where she played the love interest of Coco Martin’s character. Their team-up became hugely popular although it was not really the main plot of the show. Maja explained that it does not matter to her if she is the lead star of a project or not. To her, what is important is that she does her job well.
Maja referred to the recognition awarded to her previous afternoon soap with Sam Milby, Melai Cantiveros, and Jason Francisco. Impostor was nominated for Best Telenovela at the International Emmy Awards last November 2011 and was given a gold medal, just like the other entries.
Maja added that as long as she is given a project, she is happy with it. “Hindi [ako] nagko-complain, masaya lang dapat,” she pointed out.
