Derek Ramsay is ready to go all-out sexy for his new movie with Bea Alonzo

<img src='' alt='013012-derek-main.jpg' border='0' height='290' align='left' width='305'>During a story conference last January 27, Derek Ramsay was all praises of Bea Alonzo who’ll be his leading lady for Star Cinema’s anniversary offering this year. “I’ve worked with Bea many times. For me, One More Chance is one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. And then on Magkaribal, on TV, she’s a big star, she doesn’t act like it, but she makes me feel comfortable in front of the cam,” he said in an interview with <a href='http://Push.com.ph'>Push.com.ph</a>. While he can admittedly relate to his character, Derek teased Bea about the sexy image that she has to portray in this film. Apparently, they’re required to do a love scene that would surpass what Derek did with Anne Curtis in No Other Woman. “Namumula si Bea o (laughs)! Bea’s very intense. She’s always bubbly like this off cam. Pero ‘pag nandun na, minsan nakakaasar, parang sasabihin mo, ‘walang pakisama…’ But she’s really focused in her character. So I have to level up as an actor.” Without giving details about the story of their movie, Derek maintained that Bea will be able to pull off whatever’s required of her role. “We all know Bea. Mahirap talaga yung role niya dito. But she was handpicked for this role because they know she can deliver. Even in Magkaribal, even in a simple scene, she’s always nervous. But I think tama lang yun e, kasi dun mo huhugutin yung pang-portray ng eksena. If you’re not nervous, you don’t really care about what you’re doing.” Having worked with Bea in One More Chance and And I Love You So, Derek’s also confident that they would make a good team-up for this project. He’s also confident that her boyfriend Zanjoe Marudo won’t be jealous of his on screen chemistry with Bea. “No, I’m buddies with Zanjoe. We’re golf buddies. And nagumpisa kami ni Zanjoe together. We did Super Inggo. So I’ve known him since way back. I think that was his first soap. At nagkasama din kami sa The Wedding. So walang issue dun.”
