Sa ginanap na audition nito sa San Diego, California, pinahanga ng Fil-American na si Ashley Robles ang mga hurado ng AI kabilang sila Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler at Randy Jackson matapos niyang awitin ang hit na 'I Will Always Love You.' 'Very nice, very nice. That's how you audition right? You know what, where have you been all this time?... you got that great voice, so natural,' pahayag ni Randy. Dagdag ni Steven, 'Ashley Robles you're gonna be big! Oh My God!' Sa huli sabay-sabay pang ibinigay ng 3 hurado ang kanilang mainit na 'Yes,' na ibig sabihin ay magpapatuloy pa ang laban ni Ashley sa AI Season 11. Ayon sa AI host na si Ryan Seacrest, maliban sa pagiging insurance account manager ni Ashley ay suma-sideline din ito bilang DJ sa gabi. Pero ang pinaka-importanteng role ni Ashley sa kanyang buhay ay ang pagiging single parent sa kanyang anak na babaeng si Atera. Dahil sa mainit na suportang natanggap, nagpasalamat naman si Ashley gamit ang kanyang Twitter account. 'I'm at a loss for words .. I feel so super blessed for all of your love and support ...
