KC Concepion says she wants to start the year with a happy heart

<img src='' alt='010212-kc_main.jpg' align='left' border='0' height='290' width='305'>Putting an end to all the rumors of a reported network transfer, KC COncepcion recently signed on for another exclusive contract with ABS-CBN last December 21 and the actress-singer admits she is gearing up for yet another major project as a new host of the Kapamilya network’s upcoming reality singing search X Factor. The popular reality TV show franchise started in the United Kingdom in 2004 and was created by former American idol judge Simon Cowell. “Ito ang isa sa pinakamalaking shows abroad especially sa U.K and masayang masaya ako na dinala ng ABS-CBN ang X-Factor dito sa Pilipinas. Siyempre iba ang talentong pinoy. Iba naman ang mga Pinoy na mahilig kumanta. Lahat ng mga Pinoy mahilig kumanta, depende na lang kung magaling ka or hindi ka magaling or nagpapasikat ka lang sa mga auditions. Speaking of auditions, naghahanap na kami ngayon ng mga talents na sasali para maging susunod na singing sensation,” she admits to Push.com.ph. KC admits that she has always been a fan of the show and is excited when she first found out that the Kapamilya network would be the one to bring it here. “Nanunuod ako kapag may chance ako. Kasi meron na rin siya sa Studio 23 and lalo na ngayon kasi siyempre gusto rin natin gawing magandang maganda itong X-Factor sa atin naman,” she admits. The 26-year-old also says she is flattered that she was chosen to be the host considering that previous X-Factor franchises all over the world have male hosts. “I’m excited. Apat ang makakasama ko dito na mga judges and mentore pero hindi pa kami allowed magsabi so isang malaking sorpresa yan para sa mga viewers,” she adds. After her very public breakup with Piolo Pascual, KC considers this project as a real blessing and not as something to help make up for the heartache she has just experienced. “Alam niyo, kapag merong dumarating sa buhay natin, ang hirap naman na tanggihan kais may dahilan kung bakit nabigay sa iyo yun. Hindi ko alam kung bawi ba ito (laughs). Dala na rin siguro ng dugo’t pawis kasi siyempre lahat naman tayo nagtratrabaho din so hard work din siguro kaya lang may mga bagay na hindi mo rin talaga maaari planuhin umpisa pa lang ng taon. May mga bagay na dadating, maganda man or hindi masyadong maganda na kailangan lang pagdaanan mo. Kailangan meron ka lang faith na may dahilan ang lahat,” she says. The actress also says that she is happier now and is enjoying her single life and flourishing career. “I will end 2011 with my having a happy heart and start my year with a happy heart,” she declares. Aside from showbiz commitments, KC is also involved in helping victims of typhoon Sendong and event went to Mindanao before Christmas as a National Ambassador Against Hunger for the United Nation’s World Food Programme. “Maraming tumutulong doon. Marami talagang pumupunta dun at ginagawa ang lahat ng kaya nilang gawin para tulungan yung mga taga-Cagayan De Oro at Iligan. Encouraging yun na nakita rin namin yung ib’t ibang paraan para makatulong, kahit wala ka sa Piliipinas may internet, may Sagip Kapamilya, yung U.N World Progamme din. Ang trabaho ko naman dun ang ipaalam sa kanila na may ginagawa rin ang WFP with DSWD at saka tinutulungan namin yung government na gawin yung kailangan nila gawin at dapat nilang gawin. We do all those things para sa mga nangangailangan ng tulong, kasama rin naman lahat ng ibang artista dito sa ABS-CBN,” she shares.
