'The Biggest Loser's Raffy Tan and Hazel Chua talk about finding love on the show

092111-bl_main.jpgAs the country’s biggest reality TV show gets closer to its grand finale on October 8, Saturday, at the Ynares stadium in Pasig City, The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition sweethearts Raffy Tan and Hazel Chua shared with the press how they support each other until the final weigh-in.

If one is down, ipu-push up namin talaga. And kung makikita man namin yung sarili namin sa finals, of course kasi siyempre iba ‘pag inspired,” said Hazel. Her boyfriend Raffy, whom she only met when they joined the show, said he plans to keep his promise to Hazel until Biggest Loser Season 1’s last episode. We started this so ang ganda na we end this together,” he admits during The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition press conference held last September 20 at the Dolphy Theater inside the ABS-CBN compound.

As their relationship blossomed on-cam, 22-year-old Negros Occidental native Raffy said he has learned not to be shy about showing his feelings for Hazel despite the fact that they were always surrounded by cameras. Nothing to be ashamed of,” he stressed.

Hazel admitted she couldn’t help but fall for Raffy during their stay inside the Biggest Loser camp in Cavite. Actually one time nag-hyperventilate ako sa camp and siya yung unang-unang taong tumulong sa akin so yun yung time na nagsimula na,” she said.

Now that they are both waiting for the final weigh-in on October 8, the two admit that they have really incorporated fitness and exercise into their daily lives and even do workouts together. “May times na magkasama kami. Tinutulungan ko pa rin siya and we’re still pushing each other hanggang sa huli kami. Sometimes sabay pa rin kami nakakapag-gym pag ‘may time,” Raffy shared.

The two contestants admitted that during the course of the Biggest Loser camp, they also had time to discover a lot of new things about each other. “It’s the simple things.

Hazel, on the other hand, said that she values Raffy’s sincerity the most.

The two also share that they appreciate the support given to them both on and off cam by the show’s host Sharon Cuneta and Game Master Derek Ramsay.
