The actress was overwhelmed by ABS-CBN's warm welcome on her return to the Kapamilya Network.
“I have never felt as excited as I am for a project. I don’t know, I don’t know if it’s the story, I don’t know if it’s the hype, I don’t know if it’s because it’s a really good project,” paliwanag ni Janice.
“Overwhelming welcome. It’s nice to see old friends. I didn’t expect it to be this way because when I left ABS-CBN it was…because of a very difficult situation. But now that I’m back, everything is water under the bridge. It’s nice to be back.
I do have something to give. I may not be as sexy but the one thing I know, I can give is good work.”
On a personal note, tinanong din ni Charlene si Janice kung may love life siya ngayon. “No,” mabilis niyang sagot. “I’m really quiet because there is really nothing to talk about.” “ Of course I don’t want to grow old alone. Of course I still have that dreams of meeting…huwag na si
Prince Charming. Hindi na darating ‘yan. Wala naman talagang
Prince Charming talaga. Hindi totoo ‘yon, ‘yong konsepto ng
Prince Charming… it’s not true,” seryosong sagot pa ni Janice.
“It was okay,” tugon ni Janice. “Sa akin kasi ‘pag tapos na,
move on, wala nang
drama ‘pag may ikinasal. ‘Pag naghiwalay na kayo, naghiwalay na kayo, dapat naisip mo na ‘yon
. It was really fine. There’s never been any issue between the two of us. Nagkakaroon lang ang
issue when people talk that way (pero
“Aga and I have no problem. We may have differences that we have had in the past (pero
) tapos na ‘yon
. I guess we’re mature na rin. Matanda na kami. May apo na nga kami
. Everything is okay.”
“The other one, we’re civil and I think it’s better that way,” paliwanag niya. “We will talk when we need to talk. If there is a need to talk, we will talk but you see, our kids are grown-ups already. Whenever there is something they need from their father, I always tell them that you’re grown-ups now, you can deal with it. You can tell him what it is you want, what you need or what you need to say.”
“Every time we are asked if we have regret sa buhay
we always say, ‘Of course not. Wala akong
regrets sa buhay kasi
we learned from that.’ Yes, it’s true but we all have regrets. But it’s always painful to say you have regrets because you know ikaw ang lahat ang may kasalanan nun
. Because we choose to say (we have no regrets). We all have regrets. Whatever they
