Julia Montes admits she is excited about going abroad for her first US tour

091611-julia_main.jpgAll set for the Kapamilya Gold Teleserye tour which will go to major cities in the United States, Growing Up actress Julia Montes admitted she is excited about going abroad. “It’s my first time!

In between their shows, Julia said they will also have time to visit other tourist attractions on both the East and West coasts. The 16-year-old actress said there is no particular place she wants to see but is just excited to see the many points of interest there. “Meron naman kaming time to roam around.

The Fil-German beauty admitted she has no plans to do any major shopping while abroad. Julia said she would rather set her money aside to save up towards building her dream house. Wala pa akong nakitang place na bibilhin pero as of now, nag-iipon pa ako ng money. Instead na condo, gusto ko talaga bahay. Yung magpapatayo ako para ma-customize and para rin sa mga kapatid ko, mapagawa ko yung gusto nila,” she shared.

Julia will be singing on the tour with her Growing Up co-star Kathryn Bernardo, and although their other co-stars Diego Loyzaga and Daniel Padilla won’t be joining them on tour, Julia said she does plan to bring home something for them when she gets back. And sa family ko siguro yung typical na magagamit nila like shoes,” she said.

Julia said she is happy with how their weekly show is going so far. “Masaya siya kasi okay naman nung first airing namin. Okay naman yung feedback ng tao so sana tuloy-tuloy kasi sobrang fun lang yung show. Madami silang papakaabangan dun kasi madaming kilig, madaming iyakan din, may tampuhan, may parang magtataka ka sa bawat character, madaming mangyayari dun,” she said.

After the success of Mara Clara and her recent Star Cinema film Way Back Home, Julia said she never dreamed to reach the kind of popularity she is enjoying now. “Last year hindi ko talaga ini-expect. Kumbaga minahal nila ako bilang Clara at bilang Julia din so thankful talaga ako sa mga nangyayari,” she said.
