Derek’s dad, Derek Ramsay Sr. celebrated his birthday last Saturday and Derek said his family enjoyed celebrating it along with Angelica. “It was an awesome night. Because of their shared loved for photography, Derek revealed that Angel gave his dad a digital camera for his birthday. “Because my dad carries this big SLR all the time and he never transfers any of the pictures that he takes. So she wanted to give him something a little bit more compact because he’s getting old and he doesn’t have to bring his big camera all the time,” he said.
Derek said that despite the number of intrigues they have had to face over the course of their relationship, he and Angel have remained strong in their relationship. The actor shared how he deals with it every time he hears about issues regarding him or Angel. “I just smile and I don’t worry about it because if it’s not true then why stress about it. It’s part of the job. I’ve actually learned how to deal with it. At the end of the day, Angel and I are good and we’re there for each other,” he admitted to Push.com.ph.
