Sarah Geronimo says she's ready to revive her team-up with John Lloyd Cruz

070911-sarah-main.jpgAfter working with different onscreen partners, it looks like John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo are ready to revive their unbeatable tandem on the big screen via their third movie, tentatively titled as It Takes A Man and A Woman. Pero wala pa po akong naririnig na confirmation from my manager and Star Cinema. Basta ipagpre-pray natin kung ano ma yung will ni God, kung matuloy man yung project,” said Sarah who was once romantically linked to John Lloyd in real life.

Apparently, the success of her recent movie Catch Me…I’m In Love made her more confident to work with John Lloyd again. “Sabi ko nga noon, I wanted to challenge myself. At thank God it was successful. Marami namang natutuwa.

People have always believed that some kind of romance must have blossomed between John Lloyd and Sarah when they did their movies A Very Special Love and You Changed My Life. But when asked if she has already gotten over whatever awkwardness she feels towards John Lloyd in the past, the singer-actress merely replied, “Katulad nga ng sabi ni ate Judai (Judy Ann Santos), ako yung klase ng tao na parang diesel. Nagkausap tayo ngayon, close tayo ngayon, [pero] kapag nagkita tayo next time, nahihiya ako. Mahiyaing tao po talaga ako.”

Sarah further shared that some even misinterpret her shyness as arrogance; when in fact, she only needs to warm up first before she could establish rapport with any person. Nahihiya akong tumingin at makipagtitigan. O ayan, sinasabi ko na lahat. Hahaha! Yun lang yun ha. With Lloydy man, basta ako ay ready na mapasaya pa ang mga tao.

Given the chance though, Sarah is okay with being close friends with John Lloyd again. It seems that she is no longer susceptible to his charm this time around.
