Jill Yulo says working with Aiko Melendez in 'Reputasyon' is a dream come true

072011-jill_main.jpgCurrently playing the role of Nina Delos Santos, the younger sister of Cristine Reyes’s character in the afternoon romance drama Reputasyon, Jill Yulo said it was an unexpected blessing for her to be offered a choice role after being away from the limelight for some time. Jill was last seen in the 2007 teleserye Maria Flordeluna. Sobrang heart-melting. Binigyan pa rin nila ako ng chance so meron pa rin silang tiwala sa akin na kaya ko ito,” she shared with Push.com.ph.

In the series, Jill’s character decides to help out her parents in saving money so her sister can graduate first and finally fulfill her dream of going to school in Manila.

The pretty mestiza also admitted that getting the chance to work with veteran actors in the cast was also something she really looked forward to. “The best sila, wala akong mahihiling pa. Sobrang bait nila.

A self-confessed longtime fan of Aiko, Jill said she was so affected when she first met her idol on their first taping day. “Sobrang mahiyain akong tao.

The aspiring dramatic actress also shared that since they started working together on Reputasyon, she and Aiko have also become even more connected because of the social messaging site Twitter. “After naming magkakilala, tinweet nya ako agad. Sabi niya, ‘Napakagandang bata!’ Wala na akong mahihiling pa,” she admitted.
