Marcelito Pomoy says he is relieved that he has finally closed the unresolved issues with his family.
Marcelito Pomoy, the Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2
grand champion admitted that he is still overwhelmed by his recent success because it was something the he did not expect.
” he beamed.
Another good thing that came out of his PGT stint is that his family had finally reunited after a long separation. His parents and siblings showed their support for Marcelito when they all showed up at the PGT Season 2 grand finals last June 26, which made the aspiring singer emotional.
However, the reunion seems to be short-lived because his other siblings and his father already have their own families. Still, they were able to deal with their unresolved issues in the past. For instance, Marcelito was able to talk to his mother, who had abandoned them even before he was old enough to understand what was going on. ”Nakapag-usap na kami nang masinsinan
,” Marcelito shared during the pictorial for his upcoming debut album. “’Yun nga, nagkapatawaran nga dahil
since bata pa nga kami hindi talaga namin nakita ‘yung nanay namin.
].” When they were still kids, Marcelito’s mom abandoned them while their father was in prison. They were later adopted by another family.
Marcelito said that his mother asked for his forgiveness. “Humingi ng tawad tapos umiyak lang siya
,” Marcelito related.
” Still, the 26-year-old “doble-kara” singer did not deny that he longed for his mother’s care for the longest time. He continued that his mom has yet to make up for the lost time but since he is now all grown up, he said that he is also more understanding of their situation.
Marcelito’s mom is now in Cavite with his eldest sibling, while his father already went back to the province where he has a new family. But despite this fact, Marcelito is not bitter and is in fact just grateful that he was able to see all of them together when he performed in the PGT 2 grand finals.
during the PGT] grand finals para magpakita ng suporta
