Sam Milby credits to director Cathy Garcia-Molina for his remarkable performance and good exposure in the movie 'Forever And A Day.'
Sam Milby not only delivered an amazing performance in his movie Forever And A Day
, but his heartthrob looks was also perfectly captured on screen. An overwhelmed Sam insisted, however, that it was all thanks to box office director Cathy Garcia-Molina who taught him ways to improve on his craft. “I really owe a lot to Direk Cathy. Sa lahat ng ginawa namin, pang-apat na naming
movie ito. Siguro masasabi ko na dito sa
movie na 'to
we got very close. For a director to bring out a lot of acting in you, you have to open up. Dapat malaman niya ang lahat ng bagay tungkol sa iyo para alam niya kung paano ka imu
-motivate. She knew how to bring out the best in me.”
Sam confessed however, that he could have done better in some of the critical parts of the film. “Siyempre
I'm my own worst critic. I know there are some scenes na nakita ko na
I could have done better. And ako yung tipo na ayokong panoorin ang sarili ko
].” Nevertheless, he’s happy that those who have watched Forever And A Day
appreciated the hard work of the whole team of Star Cinema. “It's a great feeling knowing na yung mga tao lumapit at sinabi na, 'Umiyak ako ha!' Ibig sabihin
acting mo and we were able to do our job, which is to tell a good story to the moviegoers.”
Another thing that Sam’s really grateful for was the fact that the viewers loved his team-up with KC Concepcion. “It was quite a journey para sa amin ni
KC. Yung una kasi naisip ko, 'Paano ba to?
We're good friends' and parang
we look at each other as just friends. I guess it's easier if you don’t know the person. Actually, medyo hiniwalay kami
set so that we'll be more focused on our characters. There were a lot of times na pinagalitan kasi kami ni direk dahil lagi kaming nagkwekwentuhan
off cam. It’s a good thing that we were separated in between takes though kasi naging maganda ang resulta ng
movie dahil din dun.
