Angeline Quinto admits she's excited about performing abroad for the first time

061011-angeline_main.jpgAfter emerging as the Grand Winner of Star Power, rising pop star Angeline Quinto is set to conquer a bigger stage as she joins Sharon Cuneta in her U.S tour this month. This will also be the 21-year-old belter's first time to go abroad. Angeline admitted that she is very excited about traveling as well as experience being in a long flight.

Aside from getting to meet her fans abroad, Angeline admits she is also excited to see the sights.

Angeline said she feels lucky to have been chosen to go on a concert tour with Sharon Cuneta, whom she considers as one of her biggest mentors in the industry.

Angeline also said that it was the Megastar who also gave her advice on handling the intrigues that come with being in showbiz.

Angeline, who is also busy promoting her self-titled album as well as performing on ASAP regularly, said her friendship with her co-Star Power finalists Krissel Valdez, Monica Sacay, K-la Rivera, and Akiko Solon has managed to remain intact despite their hectic schedules. Even after nung natapos yung grand finals, talagang nandiyan pa rin naman sila para sa akin at saka pag nagkikita kami talagang ganun pa rin, mas naging close pa nga kami ngayon eh kasi siguro mas nami-miss namin yung isa’t isa pero may communication pa rin naman kami,” she shared with Push.com.ph

After singing ABS-CBN's summer station ID jingle, Angeline recently joined Erik Santos in singing DZMM's anniversary ID along with the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra at the CCP. She is also slated to go on more tours abroad later this year. With a slew of projects in the making, Angeline said she can't hardly ask for anything more than the blessings she has been receiving.
