Derek Ramsay reveals that he and Angelica Panganiban are taking a big step in their relationship by becoming business partners.
Despite recent intrigues linking him to Erich Gonzales, Derek Ramsay maintained that his relationship with Angelica Panganiban is stronger than ever. Proof of this is Angelica’s growing closeness to Derek’s family plus the fact that she’s actually part of his sister’s wedding entourage this June. “June 8 is my sister’s wedding sa
Tagaytay. Hindi ko pa
sure kung makakasama siya sa
second reception which is on the 13th sa
Cagayan de Oro. Sana makasama siya dun
, two days ata yun e. Kung makalabas siya sa
movie niya e ‘di
okay. Pero kung hindi,
at least nandun siya sa
actual wedding.” said Derek in an interview with Push.com.ph
last May 25.
If there’s anything that often comes between them, Derek said it’s their busy work schedules. Angelica has started shooting her upcoming movie with Piolo Pascual while Derek is busy taping Biggest Loser
and practicing Frisbee with the Philippine team lately. “Angel and I are great. There's nothing wrong with our relationship. The only problem is scheduling. Hindi kami nagkikita. Pero yung
bigger picture na lang
motivation for work kasi
at the end of the year, we'd get to spend some time together. We have a lot of plans both for our relationship and for our business. We’re [actually] planning a business together.”
Derek said that putting up a business with Angelica would surely add spice to their relationship. But he was also quick to say that they plan to take it seriously and not just dabble. “That’s a totally different kind of relationship. But you have to know to draw the line between personal and business. I’m sure mag-aaway-away kami diyan.
But I definitely know how to separate that. So I can see us fighting as business partners and I can see it carrying over sometimes into the relationship. But it’s something we’re going to have to experience.”
The dashing actor also agreed that doing business with Angelica is quite a turning point because it means they’re both set on preparing for their future as a couple. “Yes, that's how much we trust each other. So I don’t care what people say. That’s the level of our relationship already. We don’t have a perfect relationship. We have arguments, we have our differences, we have our tampuhans
, we have our own mistakes—pero tanggap namin yun e
. Our relationship is at that level where we trust each other to do a business. It’s going to be an experience. Hopefully, we’re going to learn something good from it,” he cheerfully added.
