Kathryn Bernardo and Julia Montes will deeply miss their friends from 'Mara Clara'

052511-katjulia_main.jpgAfter seven months of consistently topping the national TV ratings, ABS-CBN teleserye Mara Clara is now about to end. Young stars Kathryn Bernardo and Julia Montes, who play the rival titular characters, expressed their sadness that their show is coming to an end. Julia thanked all the fans who religiously watched Mara Clara from the beginning. Salamat.”

Kathryn talked about how Mara Clara changed her and Julia’s lives, transforming them to bona fide celebrities.

When the plan of remaking Mara Clara was conceived by ABS-CBN, Julia was at first worried that she and Kathryn would be compared to the original stars of the drama, Judy Ann Santos and Gladys Reyes, plus the possibility that many people might no longer be interested in the remake. Naipakita namin ‘yung talento.

Kathryn and Julia didn’t only have fun acting in front of the camera, but they also had a great time with the other stars and production staff during breaks on the set.

Mara Clara is about to end in two weeks, but as early as now both Kathryn and Julia are already busy with new projects. They are about to begin shooting a movie under Star Cinema which will also star Mara Clara leading man Albie Casiño plus Sam Concepcion as Julia’s ka-love team. They also have another TV drama lined up for them, also starring Albie and Diego Loyzaga. Nandun ‘yung kaba pero gagalingan talaga namin,” said Kathryn.
