Mommy Dionisia Pacquiao asked son Manny Pacquiao for an Hermes bag for her birthday.
Last May 15, Mommy Dionisia Pacquio ushered in her 62nd birthday with a grandiose celebration held at the Pacquiao Gym, Barangay Tambler in General Santos City. The “Pacmom” partied in style with four wardrobe changes in a fairytale-like celebration. The birthday celebrator performed in an opening number by dancing the tango to the tune of popular Sergio Mendez song “Mais Que Nada.” Afterwards, she changed into a red gown to sing Imelda Papin’s “Bakit?
In the May 16 telecast of TV Patrol World,
Manny and Jinkee Pacquiao fulfilled Mommy Dionisia’s request for a Hermes bag reportedly worth one million pesos and gave it to her during the program. Jinkee personally handpicked the bag for her mother-in-law while in the States for Manny’s fight with Shane Mosley in Las Vegas. Mommy Dionisia supposedly chose a bag because she wanted to receive something different from the jewelry she had already received. Mommy Dionisia also received several sandals, dancing shoes, a rosary made from Swarovski crystals, and necklaces. But the Pacmom chose to put off opening Manny and Jinkee’s gift until after she goes to church to have it blessed this coming Sunday.
The Pacmom’s party was attended by several high-profile guests who flew in just to attend her party, like former President Joseph Estrada and Ilocos Sur Governor Chavit Singson. Erap had worked with Mommy Dionisia in the Star Cinema movie Ang Tanging Pamilya
in 2009. Erap and his wife Loi Estrada gave Mommy Dionisia a Hermes silk scarf. Mommy Dionisia was visibly pleased at the turnout and capped off her party with ballroom dancing that lasted until after one in the morning.
