'Subject: I Love You' star Jericho Rosales says he is ready to meet with international agents.
After being invited to the Newport Beach Film Festival in California for the world premiere of his first international film Subject: I Love You
, Jericho Rosales shared that he hopes the film will be his chance to penetrate the international movie scene. The movie, which is loosely based on the events brought about by the I Love You computer virus which was unleashed by a Filipino in 2000, is directed by Fil-Am director Francis Dela Torre and includes a cast led by Briana Evigan (star of Step Up 2) and Lois and Clark’s Dean Cain. Fil-Am celebrities Apl.de.Ap of the Black Eyed Peas and Dante Basco as well as local talents Gary Valenciano, Joel Torre, and Tirso Cruz III are also in the cast.
The 31-year-old actor first had a taste of international success when his 2000 teleserye Pangako Sa ‘Yo
was broadcast in 14 countries and gained him popularity in Indonesia, Malaysia, and China. Jericho, who auditioned for the lead role of Victor, said that he hopes the movie will help pave the way for him to break into the Hollywood scene. “Ito na yung
