Hindi ko alam e. Siyempre I’m hoping for the best. Hindi naman siya kompetisyon. It's more of a screening of different movies. I’m excited kasi ang daming mangyayari dun e. Red carpet premiere talaga tapos confirmed na darating sina Briana Evigan (Step Up 3), Dante Basco (voice of Zuko in Avatar The Legend of Aang) and my other co-stars in the film. At the same time, kinakabahan ako kasi may press interview dun. But one thing’s for sure, I’ll just enjoy the whole experience,” he said in an interview with Push.com.ph and other ABS-CBN reporters at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport last April 25.

When asked why it took two years before Subject I Love You got a screening in the States, Jericho explained that there had been technical revisions during the post production of the film. “I’m not the best person to ask kung ano nangyari sa pelikula namin. Internal issue so ‘di ko masasagot talaga.

Jericho further shared that he’s looking forward to his meeting with a Hollywood agent during his weeklong stay in California. It could either open opportunities for him to do another film abroad or for Subject I Love You to be distributed worldwide. But it all depends talaga sa feedback ng pelikula. So ‘pag nakuha ng kumpanya, there's a bigger chance na maipalabas worldwide.

Doing this project was definitely a dream come true for Jericho because it also exposed him to a different working environment abroad. “Ang galing, yung professionalism nila ibang level. Na-pamper ako at na-educate at the same time. No wonder pang-world class mga pelikula nila kasi they spend so much time making sure that everything's perfect. Makikita mo talaga yung dedication nila sa trabaho and it really inspired me to be better at my craft.”

Although Jericho wasn’t able to bring a date with him, he admitted that his ex-girlfriend Cesca Litton wished him luck for this trip. “Wala akong date eh. But if you’re asking about Cesca, yeah, nag-message na siya sa akin as a friend.”

At this point, Jericho maintained that he dedicates his film, Subject I Love You, to all his loved ones and colleagues in the biz.
