Luis Manzano says he's willing to do a love scene for the right project.
Luis Manzano said that he is willing to do love scenes for the right project, like a teleserye. “Kung sa Who’s That Girl, wala akong itinira sa sarili ko
[by doing butt exposure], ano pa ba naman ‘yung sa [isang teleserye]? Kung sa Dyosa nga nag-
merman ako na
[leotard and tights lang ang suot],”
explained the actor-host. He was quick to add though that he is only willing to do a love scene if it is really necessary.
Luis said that he is certain that he will initially feel uncomfortable when he will do his first ever love scene. “I’ve never done it. Pero siguro
if it calls for it, siguro naman kakayanin, pero alam kong maiilang ako.”
He continued that the only reason why he has not done it yet was because it was never required of him in his previous projects.“Siguro lahat ng
project na ginagawa ko nakalinya sa pambata,
very light romantic comedy, pero siguro
as an artist darating at darating sa puntong ‘yan,”
he explained. “Alam ko na hindi ako magiging komportable, alam ko na maiilang ako, at
feeling ko kailangan i-
guide [ako] ng
co-star ko o
director.” He stressed that he has no qualms of going daring if it is needed, just like when he agreed to do a kissing scene with fellow actor John Lloyd Cruz, where they play a gay couple in the film In My Life.
With many hosting projects like Entertainment Live, Laugh Out Loud, ASAP,
and Pilipinas Got Talent
and acting projects like his recent movie and a possible teleserye, Push.com.ph
asked Luis if he fears getting overexposed. “Naniniwala ako sa
overexposed kung isa lang ang ginagawa ng artista, pero kung may
variation... napakatalino ng
audience. When they watch a host, gusto nila magaling mag-
host. When they watch artista, gusto nila magaling umarte.
So kumbaga kahit paano iba-iba ang ginagawa mo,”
he justified. “Ang pangit naman na tatlong beses kang nakikita kumbaga ang bibigat lang
[like drama]. Kumbaga iba-iba. Kung magho-
host ka lang
at least iba-ibang klaseng
