Yayo Aguila says Baron Geisler's recent interview has vindicated her daughter Patricia

033011-yayo1_main.jpgYayo Aguila explained that she purposely watched the interview with Baron Geisler on TV Patrol last Monday, March 28 because she wanted to know if the controversial actor is indeed undergoing therapy for his alcohol problem. “Pinanood ko ‘yon sa totoo lang. I want to know what’s going on with him,” Yayo said at the press conference of Good Vibes, a youth-oriented show that will replace Young Song Presents starting April 3. “Hindi pa tapos ang kaso namin meron pa nga kaming hearing this coming May. Medyo naiinis na nga ako kasi antagal.”

The actress continued that she felt relieved to know that Baron has finally taken steps to address his problem with alcohol. Yayo’s camp filed a case of acts of lasciviousness against Baron in 2008 when the Fil-German actor supposedly harassed Patricia, Yayo and William Martinez’s daughter, in a club.

Yayo added that she also feels that her daughter has been vindicated for exposing Baron’s harassment.

Aside from Patricia, actress Yasmien Kurdi also filed the same complaint against Baron.

She added that more than proving anything to people, Baron needed to be rehabilitated for his own good.

Yayo also hopes that once Baron leaves rehab, he will not return to his old ways. We were really once close. Ang sa akin I just wish him well na sana paglabas niya sa totoong mundo, eh ma-maintain niya ‘yung ganun kasi tao lang, tao lahat tayo na nagkakamali. ‘Di ba nga andaming nag-rehab tapos lalabas tapos babalik uli? Sana naman huwag, I wish him well,” she said.

The actress shared that all her daughter wanted was for everything to finally be settled and for the truth to come out. Yayo is also confident that her daughter has forgiven Baron for his wrongdoing, but she stressed that the actor will still have to face whatever the court’s decision. “I believe we raised them (children) well, so si Patricia para sa akin mapagpatawad na tao naman ‘yan. Kaya lang siyempre may proseso namang sinusunod dahil nga may kaso pa, eh. Pero knowing her, I know naman napatawad naman niya ‘yon.”
