Sarah Geromino says making peace with Cristine Reyes is not a publicity stunt

032311-sarah-main.jpgSarah Geronimo graced the grand press conference for her new movie Catch Me…I’m in Love with leading man Gerald Anderson to celebrate the first day of release of their film. But aside from celebrating the success of the film, Sarah also faced the burning questions regarding her recent reconciliation with Cristine Reyes. Sarah’s effort to extend the hand of peace was perceived by some as publicity stunt for the movie.

Sarah quickly defended herself against the accusation.

The Pop Star Princess again apologized if Cristine feels that she had been used for the promotion of the movie.

The singer/actress stood by her decision to make the first move in fixing the situation, which she described as the right thing to do. “Naniniwala ako na tama ang ginawa ko. Humingi ako ng tawad. Wala naman sigurong masama dun.” She also said that her mother, Divine Geronimo, knew that she has plans of approaching Cristine at the dressing room of ASAP Rocks last March 20. “Alam ni Mommy na gustong gusto na itong gawin pero hindi lang niya alam na that day ko gagawin.”

Now that there seem to be some people who are still cynical over her decision to end the rift with Cristine, Sarah had realized that she shouldn’t have talked about the incident in her interview with Boy Abunda on The Buzz last March 20.

Another question from reporters during the press conference was why Sarah chose to approach Cristine and patch things up between them instead of talking to Rayver Cruz. Sarah once had a short lived and secret relationship with Rayver, and when things didn’t work out for them, the young actor went to pursue Cristine, and this was the root of the tension.

Sarah decided to put the issue to rest by saying that she had long been praying for the rift to end and maybe start a friendship with Cristine. The singer also said that she is open to do a production number with the sexy actress on ASAP Rocks, but maybe not with Rayver. “Pero siguro ‘wag munang kaming tatlo! Hindi magandang tingnan, ha ha ha!,” Sarah laughed.

Sarah even welcomed the invitation of Ara Mina, Cristin
