Judy Ann Santos says she is not scared about being typecast in mother roles

032211-juday_main.jpgEven before she gave birth to son Lucho last October, Judy Ann Santos had already opted to keep a low profile in order to focus on her pregnancy and family. Now, she is slowly becoming more visible again with a new endorsement for Lactum milk and a job as the host of the upcoming reality cooking show Junior MasterChef, Judai admitted she still has some reservations about being in front of the camera again, especially since she is still in the process of losing some of the weight she gained during the pregnancy.

But I’m just really enjoying my time. Talagang nag-e-enjoy lang ako at masaya ako na binibigyan nila ako ng pagkakataon na mag-relax lang,” she shared during the Lactum presscon held last March 18 at the C55 Events Place in Quezon City.

Judai, who admitted she came to the presscon wearing two girdles, shared that she intends to lose weight the natural way and without the need for any surgical procedures. Judai said she has been attending Barre3 class which is a workout that incorporates elements from ballet, yoga, and pilates. The 32-year-old actress also admitted that she is going on a new kind of diet which she will divulge only when it proves effective for her. “I exercise. I go to the gym everyday. I run around the village. Assignment ko sa inyong lahat yun,” she told the media during the Lactum event.

Because of her fuller figure, Judai was asked if she had any misgivings about being possibly typecast in motherly roles now. The dramatic actress said she does not feel bothered by those kinds of worries. We have to be honest to ourselves na hindi na madali ang buhay ngayon.

Juday also said she also doesn’t get affected if one of her past endorsements chooses not to renew her contract anymore after she started laying low from showbiz. If they’re happy with your services, well and good. But if they want to pursue other endorsers, that’s really okay kasi marami naman talagang mga artistang magaganda at talagang mas bata at talagang mas credible, bakit hindi? Okay lang yun. As long as nakapag-bigay ako ng maayos na serbisyo sa mga produktong inendorso ko, masaya na ako na kahit papano naging part ako ng family nila and okay na yun. Let’s give chance naman to others,” she said matter-of-factly.
