Andi Eigenmann denies she walked out of the set of Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin

Andi Eigenmann is very proud of her new project, the teleserye Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin, the pilot episodes of which were shown to the entertainment press during a star-studded red carpet screening at The Podium. Andi talked about the strenuous training she underwent for her role as young female soldier Gabrielle Marcelo. "I had to do extra training to learn how to move like a real soldier. In Baguio, we had help from real soldiers to teach us so our scenes will appear realistic. Kakaiba 'lsquo;yung role ko dito kasi medyo adult na talaga and may pagkaseryoso. In real life, I'rsquo;m so playful, carefree, and outgoing. It was a challenge for me, that'rsquo;s why I accepted this project. I know that if I do good here I will yet again prove something to myself and to the people."

Andi was propelled to drama princess status by ABS-CBN last year via the hit teleserye Agua Bendita. But since then, the 20-year-old actress has had her share of controversies, primarily accusations of having an attitude problem. Recently, she was rumored to have walked off the set of Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin which she denied. "Hindi po ako nag-walk out, ever. Siguro ang pinaguusapan nilang incident was nung'hellip; wala na kasi akong co-stars so pinauwi na ako. Siyempre wala na akong makukunan na eksena kasi wala na akong co-stars kaya umuwi na ako. I never walked out of the set."

She pointed out that she is in no position to act like a brat whenever she'rsquo;s at work or give her co-stars and the production staff a difficult time dealing with her. "Bakit ako magwo-walk out? I don'rsquo;t think I have the right to do that. First of all, I'rsquo;m a newbie and I'rsquo;m just an actress. I just need to do my job. Wala akong karapatan para mag-demand o kung ano man."

In fact, she said she feels very humbled to be doing Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin because she has the chance to work with iconic and acclaimed actors like Ronaldo Valdez, Boots Anson Roa, Amy Austria-Ventura, and Lorna Tolentino. "Hindi talaga maiiwasan na kabahan because lahat ng artistang kabilang dito may mga pangalan and they have been in the industry for a long time. From Tito Ronaldo down to Ate Maja (Salvador), Tita Boots, and everyone else. They'rsquo;re all great actors, people whom I admire. But I also took this project as a wonderful opportunity that I should not waste. Everyday ang dami kong natututunan sa kanilang lahat. Even if this is just my second teleserye masasabi kong ang dami ko nang natutunan because of the people I'rsquo;m with."

Since there had been other incidents of false accusations, is Andi beginning to lose her nerve because of intrigues? If I'rsquo;m guilty of something, dun magre-react ako."
