After her husband Aga Muhlach signed a contract with another network, Charlene Gonzales was reportedly planning to leave ABS-CBN as well. In an exclusive interview with The Buzz Magazine, Charlene denied the speculation and said that she will honor her contract with the Kapamilya network. "It'rsquo;s a two-year contract. Six months pa lang. So, I'rsquo;ll be here for a year and a half pa."
The beauty queen-turned-TV host added that she sees no reason to leave ABS-CBN because she is still having a great time co-hosting the Sunday showbiz talk show The Buzz. "Nage-enjoy naman ako sa family ko sa The Buzz at sa lahat ng kasama ko. Lagi kong sinasabi na pangarap ko talaga na makasama si Tito Boy (Abunda). Of course nadagdagan pa. Si Toni (Gonzaga), nandiyan din si KC (Concepcion). They also have become my good, good friends. Happy talaga kami na magkakasama. Nage-enjoy talaga kami."
Aside from hosting The Buzz, is Charlene open to other jobs like acting in a teleserye or dancing again on ASAP? She told The Buzz Magazine, "I just take one step at a time. Tingnan natin kung ano ang mga bagong development that 2011 has in store for me. 'lsquo;Di ba sa forecast ng The Buzz na maganda raw ang year na ito for me. Full of surprise so excited ako. Basta ako, go nang go at yes nang yes."
Charlene is not rushing things in terms of career because her number one priority is still her family, most especially her two children Atasha and Andres who are about to be teenagers in a few years. "Nine years old na ang kambal. Ang bilis na talaga ng panahon. In a matter of how many years hindi na sila sasama-sama sa amin. So, taking advantage kami sa mga oras na they want to be with us kasi mga bata pa sila."
