Cristine Reyes shares her best showbiz advice: 'Learn the art of deadma'

120911-cristine_main.jpgAs 2011 comes to a close, Reputasyon star Cristine Reyes admitted she has learned a lot from the past year when it comes to her personal and professional life. The outspoken actress has had her share of intrigues ever since she started in showbiz and now the 22 year-old said she has turned to her faith to guide her in the coming year.

Cristine said being more religious has not been hard since she has grown up with it.

Of all the advice she has gotten, Cristine shared what she values the most. “Learn the art of deadma. So dapat matuto kang dumedma kapag binato ka. Masakit yun pero indahin mo na lang kasi wala namang mangyayari,” she said.

With the slew of issues she has had to face both on-and-off screen, Cristine said it’s not that she has had to change her attitude for the better, but that she wants to be more responsible when it comes to her actions.

Cristine said she is now ready to face any other issues that might be hurled against her during the course of her career. In the past, the pretty mestiza has been vocal about quitting showbiz because of all the negativity the issues have brought into her life.

The Reputasyon star also downplayed her new status as being heralded as one of the Kapamilya network’s newest drama royalty. Cristine revealed that she does look up to certain actresses to career paths in showbiz. Not necessarily siya talaga, gusto ko maging one of them na respected actresses in the business, yung ganun.
