RJ Rosales dies at 37

120611-rj-main.jpgFormer ABS-CBN talent RJ Rosales passed away last December 4 in Sydney, Australia. He was 37. The cause of his death has yet to be announced since his family has requested for privacy as they mourn for his loss.

Born Roseo Jose Rosales, RJ was born in the Philippines but his family soon migrated to Australia. His started his career in performing in 1996 when he became part of the Australian production of Miss Saigon. In 1998, he moved to Singapore and had major roles in musicals such as Chang and Eng, The Student Prince, Man of Letter and Cabaret.

RJ became visible in the local scene in early 2000. He was known as a good singer, performer, host and actor and became a part of ASAP. He was also part of Kapamilya shows like Attagirl and Sa Puso ko Iingatan Ka.

The singer-actor also did a duet with Carol Banawa for the song “Together Forever” which was the theme song of the 2002 film Forevermore. In 2008, RJ became part of a Metro Manila Film Fest entry, Blue Moon where he earned a Best Supporting Actor nomination.
