Carlo Aquino says that Ai-Ai De las Alas is like a second mother to him

121811-carlo_main.jpgIn the fourth installment of the successful Tanging Ina series, Carlo Aquino reprised his role as Ai-Ai De las Alas's most serious and responsible son Tri Montecillo. The 26-year-old actor admitted he is excited about how fans of the series will react to the merging of the Tanging Ina and Enteng Kabisote franchises this year.

Carlo said that Ai-Ai has become more than just an onscreen mother to him through the years. Even when they're not filming a movie together, Carlo said that he and Ai-Ai are very close.

Carlo said he also enjoyed working with their new cast members like Vic Sotto as well. "First time ko siya makatrabaho. Carlo said that he has also learned a lot from observing how a veteran actor like Vic works. "He's very, very professional. Si Bossing kasi alam niya agad yung lines niya tapos nung minsan nagkamali ako, tinutulungan niya ako kung papaano yung emotion dapat, kung paano ibabato," he said.

The former child actor is excited to see how the Tanging Ina fans will react to the collaboration. "This time may fantasy. Tapos may fantasy na ngayon yung Tanging Ina kaya sobrang excited lahat," he told Push.com.ph.  Although it was his first time to work with Vic, Carlo is more familiar with the rest of the Enteng Kabisote cast. "Si kuya Jose nakasama ko na siya before sa ibang network sa isang TV show. Nakaka-basketball ko yan si kuya Jose. Sila Kuya Wally ayan, makukulit, silang tatlo nila Bossing. Pagka-lunchbreak nagtatawanan rin kami lagi," he said.

Carlo also considers his Tanging Ina siblings like real family. Ganun talaga eh, family kami," he admitted.  For more updates on Enteng ng Ina Mo, log on daily to Push.com.ph and follow @P
