According to the actress' lawyers, she is now able to speak and testify in Ram Revilla's case.
It has been a month since the death of Ramgen Revilla and the only witness to the tragedy was his girlfriend, Janelle Manahan, who was also injured in the incident. The former teen star is undergoing therapy everyday to regain feelings to her face and to strengthen her physique. She is now getting better and able to speak to her lawyers regarding that fateful night.
In an interview by ABS-CBN News, Atty. Argee Guevarra says there are a lot of differences between Janelle's statement and Ramona's, Ramgen's sister, who is also a witness and suspect in his murder. “There is definitely a conspiracy. We have to identify those who are involved in this conspiracy. Kahit sino pa sila, kahit ilan pa sa kanilang magkakapatid
.” He is also requesting his client be placed under the witness protection program, “Janelle is a witness as well as a victim, a complainant in this criminal case.”
In a letter, Janelle said she is very confused with what she is hearing and seeing on television regarding the progress of the case. Janelle also answered Genelyn Magsaysay's (Ramgen's mother) message to her, saying they should ask Ramona to return to the country from Turkey, where she is currently in hiding. "If you really do love me still, I hope you can ask Mara (Ramona) to come home. I wanna talk to her in person so I can clarify things."
Janelle, in another letter to The Buzz
last week, said she wants justice for her and Ram as soon as possible that's why she wants to recover quickly and be able to tell her side of the story.
