He is now seen in the Christmas teleserye Ikaw Ang Pag-Ibig, top-billed by child stars Zaijian Jaranilla, Xyriel Manabat, and Mutya Orquia. I’m very happy and I can finally learn a lot,” he said.

Aside from his current teleserye, Paulo is also part of the star-studded project Walang Hanggan which will be led by Richard Gomez, Dawn Zulueta, Coco Martin, Melissa Ricks, and Julia Montes. He said that with the big projects entrusted to him, he is intent on proving that he is deserving of these opportunities.

Paulo was discovered through a talent search program on another network and his transfer to ABS-CBN could be considered as second chance at showbiz. He signed a contract with ABS-CBN last August and after three months, he said that he has become more recognized now both in and out of the country with the help of TFC (The Filipino Channel). “Masasabi ko naman na magandang simula ulit ito para sa career [ko]. Mas marami akong nararamdanman ngayon na nakakakilala na sa akin.”

He said that he has two Kapamilya actresses in mind that he wishes to work with, the first being Julia Montes who is now his fellow cast member in Walang Hanggan. The second is Kim Chiu whom he really admires her acting skill.

As an actor, he said that his acting prowess has gone one notch higher since he transferred networks. “Out of ten, [I rate myself] 3. I still have a lot to learn. Sobrang kulang pa eh marami pa akong dapat matutunan,” he related.

When asked about his biggest learning which led him to where is right now, Paulo said, “Siguro know your priorities, know your job, and work hard to improve yourself in what you do [and] be consistent.”
