Pinakagusto ko yung I am Sam, What’s Eating Gilbert Grape? at Rain Man. Sa local films, pinanood ko yung kay Tonton (Gutierrez), Saan Nagtatago Ang Pag-ibig, tsaka kay Aga (Muhlach), Nag-iisang Bituin,” said Gerald during a press visit on the set in San Juan last October 5.

The soap poses a lot of challenges for Gerald since he’s required to learn certain mannerisms and to change his overall look.

He was dead-set on internalizing his role to the point that he brings home Budoy’s fake teeth for him to wear even while sleeping.

After being exposed to the plight of mentally challenged children in one of his immersions, Gerald revealed that he’s planning to treat a group of them to a day out sometime in November. Kaya next month, may gagawin akong basketball event, lahat sila manonood. ASAP versus Star Magic artists.”
