100411-andieingenmann-main.jpgControversial young star Andi Eigenmann appeared on late evening news Bandila's live telecast last night for a one-on-one interview with Boy Abunda. This is Andi’s first live appearance on TV after announcing her pregnancy last July. Already on her eighth month, Andi said she’s bored and excited at the same time to see her baby girl. “Masaya po ako. If there's one word to describe how I’m feeling right now it's bored. I’m so excited, excited na din akong dumating yung November, para makita ko na siya (baby).”

The actress shared that her pregnancy is a breeze and she has yet to finalize the name of her baby. “I’ve gone through several 4D scans and ultra sounds. My baby is very much healthy.” Andi added that she craved for sweets the past months. “Ice cream and chocolates. Sweets and sugary foods. I’m not really into those kinds of foods so I know naglilihi ako dun,” she laughingly admitted.

Andi answered questions too, regarding people’s perception that she’s too young to have a baby. She said maybe the viewers think she’s just 16, like her character in her first drama, Agua Bendita. “I'm not saying I'm old enough but I'm not a teenager anymore. I'm 21.” When Boy asked her how she’s dealing with this, Andi said that she knows being showbiz is difficult but going through the pregnancy hasn’t stopped her for reaching for her dreams. “Para sa akin po, when I entered showbiz, (I know) it’s a tough industry to be a part of. Andami ko na pong beses nakita ang sarili ko on the verge of failing and this is the first time that assured myself that hindi ako made to just fail, I'm designed to be successful at something and if alam ko na I just have to believe in myself, go for it and as long as I'm not hurting anybody, and I just do what I love. Si God I know ‘di naman ako pina-punish or anything…In the beginning, really, well I'm young and I didn't really expect this to happen at this point in my life...I asked myself 'why?' but then inisip ko walang tine-take away si God sa akin. Lahat ng mga stuff na alam kong I deserve and I wanted to achieve, I know I can still achieve them. This is not a punishment. This is a present. It's a blessing from God and I'm very much honored.”

The actress also revealed that this event in her life made her closer to her mother, actress Jaclyn Jose. She said that she’s often at home now with her mom and she’d rather spend time with her than her friends. Before she planned to move out of their house but Andi now realized she’s more comfortable having her mom around.

To end the interview, Andi gave a message to her unborn baby. “No matter what happens I will always try to be the best I can be to you, and there's nothing to worry about even if it's just going to be the two of us because there are a lot of people there who would love you as much as I would.”
