Albie Casiño admits that he is very happy and content with his life and career right now.
After guest roles on top-rated Kapamilya shows like 100 Days to Heaven
, Maalaala Mo Kaya
, and Wansapanataym
, Albie Casino wrapped up another project which he is especially proud of, the horror flick Aswang
produced by Regal Films. The 18-year old revealed he plays a different kind of role in the film, which will be shown starting November 2.
“It’s hard to explain eh
. I’m not an aswang
. It also stars with Lovi Poe, Jillian Ward, Paolo Avelino, Marc Abaya, and Nina Jose. Sina
Paolo and Nina are killers. Pinatay nila ang
parents ko tapos hinahabol nila ako
. It’s my first movie and it’s very different from working on TV. It was a good experience naman
, I liked it. It was fun,” he shares with Push.com.ph
Albie also admitted that it was a welcome experience to also get the chance to work with actors from other networks like Lovi. “Lovi’s very nice. I love Lovi. She’s really nice. She’s like an older sister to me,” he said.
Although he has yet to have any concrete projects lined up, the talented teen actor said he is planning to return to school and start college next year. For now, when not at work, he chooses to stay at home and spend time with close friends and family. “I’m just hanging out with my friends now, pero
finals week nila eh.
. I’ll be going back to school next year. I really wanted to go to school but I can’t because of the work schedule. Now medyo maluwag yung
schedule so I’ll go back to school. I want to take Psychology. Very intriguing ang
human mind eh.
So I want to figure out how to tap my own mind,” he said.
Albie said he has also put his Mixed Martial arts training on hold for now. “I did MMA again but I got injured. Hurt my knee. It was submission and I didn’t tap out and I rolled,” he revealed.
After the whole brouhaha involving his ex-girlfriend Andi Eigenmann, who’s due to give birth next month, Albie admitted he is in no hurry to start dating or be linked to other girls anytime soon. “I want to take my time with friends and family first. I’m very happy right now. I miss my friends talaga eh
so I’m just hanging out with them now. I’m very good. I’m just really good now,” he stresses. The young actor also said that it was not management nor his family who instructed him to keep mum on the issue regarding his past relations. “I choose not to. I decided that,” he affirmed.
