The actress allegedly fought with boyfriend John Lloyd because of Liz Uy and Ruffa Gutierrez.
After saying in recent interviews that their relationship is ‘boring,’ celebrity couple Shaina Magdayao and John Lloyd Cruz are in the headlines once again because of the actress’ alleged jealousy towards her boyfriend’s exes.
Last October 8 at Bea Alonzo’s birthday bash in Taguig, it was rumored that Shaina and John Lloyd fought after the actor was said to have become ‘too chummy’ towards his ex-girlfriends, Liz Uy and Ruffa Gutierrez. The host-actress talked about the issue during close friend Vina Morales’ concert in Resorts World last Oct 17. Ruffa could not avoid the questions as Shaina and John Lloyd were also at the event, with Vina being the young actress’ sister.
“Actually that’s not true. Nagkita kami doon pero ‘di kami nagusap
so I dunno kung saan nangaling yung ganyang balita
. For me that issue is so over and done with, two years ago na yan
. They are happy, I’m happy. We just saw each other there, nag-
smile sya, nag-
smile ako, ‘yun lang
friends kami ni
Vina but I have nothing against Shaina. Kapatid siya ng kumare ko, kaya para sa ‘kin walang
bad blood at all,” Ruffa explained.
Liz also gave her statement on the matter when The Buzz
caught up with her in ABS-CBN. “‘Di naman kami nag-usap
[ni John Lloyd] ng mahaba. Di naman mahaba yun, nagkamustahan lang kami.
We are friends now. Nag-ano lang kami
, civil, nag-
Shaina was quick to refute the rumors too. “‘Di sila naglapit ni
for him (John Lloyd) na binibigyan na naman siya ng ganoong
impression. Actually ‘di sila naglapit
. We were with my ate
, so ‘di siya lumapit
. He was beside me the whole time. Liz naman,
I have no problems with Liz. Before pa naging kami
John Lloyd], nakilala ko naman si
Liz, wala akong problema doon sa tao ... Kung meron man mag-
, maybe you should just ask him, pangit kasi yung lumalabas
and I think it’s just so unfair yung mga ganoong lumalabas
John Lloyd, on the other hand, gave a short statement regarding the issue. “Wala. Wala talaga. Wala naman problema
But the controversy has yet to die down after Ruffa made three controversial tweets after Vina’s concert. Below are the following statements that had everyone wondering who the ‘insecure’ person she was referring to.
“My gosh, panahon pa ni Magsaysay…wag ka naman mainsecure!
There’s nothing I can do if my legs are longer than yours. Hellow!”
“No cure for the insecure. Kalurks k
a girl. Seriously be real! That was so nineteen kopong kopong!
I should have stayed home and slept!”
“Behind the tweet is a back story. Please ‘wag niyo po akong palabasin na masama.
I’m the nicest person on earth but I hate the most is receiving psychotic messages at ungodly hours. This isn’t the first and thank God, I have many credible witnesses who can defend me.” The Buzz
had the chance to ask Ruffa about this in a press conference and she said she’s just like any other person who tweets whatever she feels and there’s no need to make a big deal out of it. “Wala naman
, I don’t think yung mga
tweets ko dapat gawing
controversial. Kasi wala naman akong…’di naman tayong lahat
perfect. We go through things. Wala akong kaaway
. I’m so peaceful and loving.” When asked if she’s referring to Shaina, Ruffa just said they shouldn’t be talking about old issues. “Wala akong alam diyan. Panahon pa ni Mahoma yan
. Let’s not talk about that. Let’s be positive.”
The former beauty queen made a final tweet about the matter last October 21, saying everyone should j
