Lauren Dyogi on rumored ill will with Mariel Rodriguez: 'Move on na tayo'

102211-lauren-main.jpgAt the recent grand press con of Pinoy Big Brother Unlimited, director Lauren Dyogi was besieged with questions about the speculation that Mariel Rodriguez left ABS-CBN due to a lack of an offer from the said reality show. But Direk Lauren refused to say whether or not there’s bad blood between him and Mariel, insisting that it’s all water under the bridge now. “Move on na tayo. Let’s move on. Nasa kabila na siya, so it’s best na pabayaan natin kung saan siya masaya. Nagdesisyon na siya e. Nirerespeto namin yung decision niya and I can just wish her happiness wherever she is right now.”

A few entertainment reporters continued to grill Direk Lauren about the said issue, so Bianca Gonzalez opted to explain how Mariel reached her decision to transfer to another network. “Actually, I can answer that…kasi nga beyond TV we’re all friends. Sila ni Toni sa Happy Yipee Yehey, at ako, wala, friends lang kami. Ever since she was given an offer, kausap ko siya, ka-text ko siya everyday. Hindi po naging factor whatever na nangyari sa PBB to what her decision is. I can say that for sure.”

Bianca claimed that Mariel had a counteroffer from ABS-CBN, but the latter chose to switch networks after much consideration. “It was a solid offer from where she is now and a solid offer here from ABS-CBN. She really chose kung saan siya masaya. And I think until now that I’m texting her, she's very happy with her decision. And if ever you want to ask about feelings, maybe it’s better if you ask her because she's the only one who has the right na magsabi [kung anong nasa loob niya].”

On a lighter note, Direk Lauren shared that he’s very happy with the newest additions to PBB’s roster of hosts, Robi Domingo and Martin Concio. “Si Robi kasi laking-PBB so he's a good choice. Meron siyang credential kasi alam niya yung experience sa loob ng bahay. Si Martin, we discovered his talent sa Uplate and we felt na baka yung personality niya na very strong at diretso magsalita would be good for the show. So I think Robi and Martin would be able to fill in the positions that we’re offering for this season. And hopefully, with the right training and time, they’d be able to deliver and be as good as Bianca and Toni.”
