Kim Chiu on being a Kapamilya: 'Kung saan ako nagsimula, dun lang talaga ako'

101411-kim_main.jpgAs one of the most bankable young actresses today, Kim Chiu was very happy to renew her contract with ABS-CBN, which includes several exciting projects ahead of her. One of which is her upcoming movie with Batangas Governor Vilma Santos. Kaya siyempre tama lang na ibigay ko yung best ko sa bawat project na binibigay nila,” said Kim during her contract signing last October 6.

Kim further shared that she never considered switching networks since ABS-CBN was the one who launched her showbiz career and catapulted her to stardom.

The 21-year old was also proud of the success of her teleserye My Binondo Girl where she plays a girl pretending to be a boy to please her father. When told that even Gerald Anderson was impressed by her dual role, Kim cheerfully exclaimed, “Talaga sinabi niya yun [na ma-i-insecure siya sa kagwapuhan ni Yuan kung magka-love team pa sila]? Ano ba ‘yan (laughs).

The fact that her good friend Maja Salvador recently joined the cast of My Binondo Girl further inspired her to be at her best.

Given the successful TV ratings of her primetime soap, Kim expressed her gratitude to her fans for their solid support for all her endeavors.
