'Sa Palawan lang kami nagpunta. Hindi natuloy sa Bali kasi may volcano na nag-erupt recently so natakot yung dad ni Derek. So kung may time kami, gusto ko matuloy yung pagpunta namin ng Bali or kahit sa Japan. Kung hindi naman, pwede na rin kahit out of town lang.' When asked about their Christmas gifts to each other, Angelica revealed that it was Derek who paid for her LASIK (Laser-Assisted In Situ Keratomileusis) laser eye surgery. 'Okay na, nakakakita na ako ng malinaw. So wala na akong problemang kumilala ng press people ngayon katulad ng mga issue sa akin dati. Ha-ha-ha! Masarap yung pakiramdam pero masakit siya after nung surgery. Mga three hours ko hindi madilat yung mata ko.' Angelica on the other hand gave Derek a 55-inch 3D flat screen TV worth almost P250,000.
