Anne Curtis says she would never leave 'Showtime' despite being busy with other projects.
Anne Curtis has often been absent lately from Showtime to work on the teleserye Green Rose with Jericho Rosales and Jake Cuenca and the movie Who’s That Girl with Luis Manzano. Though the work is beginning to take a physical toll, Anne explained she is just looking at being busy as a blessing. “Segue-segue ang buhay ko ngayon, ha ha ha! Hindi na lang ako nagrereklamo. Sinasabi ko na lang, these are all blessings.”
But as soon as her schedule becomes more relaxed, Anne said she had promised herself a worthwhile vacation. “Kapag hindi na masyado busy, some time this year I will give myself na two weeks or one month na pahinga. Para rin naman hindi ako ma burn out. I believe kasi as an actor you should also give your time to rest para makapag recharge.”
Although she has taken on more work as an actress, Anne said that she would never forsake her hosting obligations in Showtime because she has a blast with the show. Now that Showtime has taken over the daily noontime block of ABS-CBN, she said the big challenge is about to come. “I’d rather look at it in a way na it’s another trial for us na all throughout the year e palipat-lipat ang time slot namin. But whatever the management gives to us, we look at it with a lot of positivity. We also do our best to please the viewers and the madlang pipol. Siyempre nagiiba lagi ‘yung expectations ng mga tao kaya tuloy lagi kaming nagmi-meeting para pagusapan kung anong magandang pwedeng gawin sa show. But at the end of the day, hindi namin babaguhin what we all are.”
