With the date of their wedding fast approaching, Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez are getting more excited because many of their friends have been volunteering to help them out with the wedding preparations as their wedding gifts to the couple. For instance, Michelle Van Eimerenn, Ogie'rsquo;s former wife, has volunteered to take care of the flowers for the wedding. "Andami na niyang mga plano, siyempre natutuwa kami pareho [ni Ogie]. Maraming nago-offer na kami na sasagot niyan, kami sasagot nito. Maraming salamat sa gesture. The thought counts," shared Regine.

Vicki Belo on the other hand has volunteered to sponsor Regine'rsquo;s wedding gown, which is supposedly worth $36,000 or P1.6 million. But the cosmetics doctor explained on The Buzz last Sunday, September 26, the real worth of the gown, which will be designed by the popular US-based Filipino designer Monique Lhuillier. "Ang totoong presyo kasi I don'rsquo;t like what'rsquo;s happening, it'rsquo;s only $8,000. It'rsquo;s still not cheap but it'rsquo;s far from the $30,000 na sinasabi nila."

But in general, the bride-to-be is just glad that her friends are as excited as she is and are glad to offer a helping hand. "Siguro alam din nila na feeling ko matagal ko ring hinintay so everybody is happy for me," she explained.

She also revealed that Ogie is more excited than her and is very meticulous with the details of the wedding. "It'rsquo;s going to be a beach wedding. I just want a party although si Ogie kinakir niya so feeling niya ito 'lsquo;yung ibibigay niya sa aking dream wedding," explained Regine.

For his part, Ogie said that he just wants to make the wedding memorable for both of them. "Ine-enjoy ko ang bawat pagplano sapagkat pagkatapos ng kasal you look back [and say], 'lsquo;Hmmm tapos na?'rsquo; So ine-enjoy ko."
